New Role Titles

Consultant certifications rebrand around Agentforce

From July 24, 2026, Sales Cloud Consultant becomes Agentforce Sales Consultant, Service Cloud Consultant becomes Agentforce Service Consultant, and Field Service becomes Agentforce Field Service & Operations Consultant. AI agents are now built into Salesforce’s role titles themselves.

New Certification Names

A refreshed certification family

In July 2025, Salesforce renamed 35 certifications: Administrator is now Platform Administrator, and Platform Developer I is now Platform Developer, the credential this program prepares you for. Since December 2025, the Platform Administrator exam includes a dedicated Agentforce AI topic.

Salesforce’s new partner program, launched March 2026, replaced 170 legacy distinctions with 28 Competencies (including Agentforce and Data 360), each measured by certifications earned, projects delivered, and customer satisfaction. Platform Update

Data Cloud is now Data 360

Renamed at Dreamforce 2025 as part of the Agentforce 360 platform. The credential is transitioning to Salesforce Certified Data 360 Consultant, a key specialization track for data-focused Salesforce careers.
